Nanomaterials Science and Engineering

 

 

The NJ Commission on Higher Education grants comprises of a $1.5 million grant to support the Nanomaterials Science and Engineering Initiative.  The goals of the program p

1.  Develop 4 new lecture courses and three new laboratory courses in NMSE

2. Renovate and equip three undergraduate teaching laboratories with state of the art equipment

3. Hire 5 new faculty

4. Provide summer internships for 20 NJ High School students

5. Develop co-op program that allows undergraduates to gain industry experience while fostering nanomaterials technology transfer to NJ based corporations

6. Develop a NJ Elementary and High School outreach program to promote retention of NJ students in NJ, at Rutgers and in industry
