He has assembled a team of undergraduates and two graduate student along with a research associate. During the summer intenship program, he mentored a high school student and an undergraduate intern. Dr. Chhowalla has also been active in building a nanotechnology curriculum
with the Department as well as recruiting of more students. Since joining
Rutgers, he has developed the ‘Photonic, Electronic, and Magnetic
Applications of Nanomaterials and Nanostructures’ course and lab
course. He has helped to organize and participated in NanoDays at Rutgers
for high school students and teachers. He has also designed demonstrations
and presentations about nanotechnology for high school students.
